Local amenities & attractions

Situated in close to the centre of the heritage town of Westport, winner of the "Tidy Towns Award", the Boulevard Guesthouse offers you a range of things to do and to experience. And a lot of these are within easy walking distance. There are dozens of family friendly pubs offering traditional music and good pub-fare at reasonable prices. A step up are a myriad of restaurants offering fresh sea-food and international cuisines. Westport sports a state of the art leisure facility, a cinema which opened only shortly ago, numerous hair and beauty salons, and for the fashion affeciendo there are  boutiques with international renowned labels. Apart from that there are craft shops and art galleries, as well as banks, a local farmers market and other shops that you can expect in a thriving market town.

Westport is also on the itinerary of many tour operators and we are delighted to work together with "The Iron Donkey" and "Killary Tours".

Sports enthusiast will delight in the trout and deep-sea angling offered locally. Westport is also home to an 18-hole links golf course and a smaller 9-hole course.
